Chris has over 25 years leadership experience managing healthcare publishing, training and education companies. He is the founder of Entrepreneur’s Growth Network, LLC and was formerly the CEO of Medic First Aid International, Inc., Co-CEO of Health & Safety Institute, Inc. and Executive Chairman of the Institute for Professional Care Education, LLC. Under his direction, these businesses helped train more than 10 million people in CPR, first aid, OSHA safety training and caregiver certification. He is passionate about improving quality of care and raising standards through education. Chris received his BA from Duke University and a Masters of Business Administration from the University of North Carolina. He lives in Cornelius, North Carolina and enjoys boating and fishing on Lake Norman with his wife Julie and two teenage children.
Glenn has over 30 years’ experience in technology based companies in product development, marketing and corporate management. He graduated from MIT in 1983 and began his career in Silicon Valley working as an engineer on telecommunications products at ROLM, IBM and Aspect Telecommunications. He progressed into product management and marketing positions and in 1993 founded Latitude Communications serving first as Vice President of Marketing and then Vice President Worldwide Operations. Following Latitude’s successful IPO and his departure from Latitude, Glenn has focused on supporting and scaling emerging growth companies serving in both board and corporate management positions. Glenn is an active community volunteer serving as a Scoutmaster for 11+ years, founding elementary and high school Robotics Teams and creating chess programs for three different schools. Glenn lives in Coeur d’Alene, Idaho with his wife Gina and their two teenage sons where the family enjoys sailing, snowshoeing and hiking the trails of the Pacific Northwest.
Eric is the General Partner at Council Capital, a healthcare private equity firm located in Nashville, TN. Focusing exclusively on healthcare, Council Capital has deep expertise, capabilities and relationships through its CEO Council, a group of 34 former executives that have generated more than $30 Billion of shareholder value as CEO or President. Eric has more than 13 years working with healthcare businesses and partnering with entrepreneurs. Eric received his BA in Finance and Political Science with honors from the University of Illinois. When not working, he enjoys sports, food, University of Illinois basketball and chasing his four young children around Nashville with his with wife Macy.
David is Chief Executive Officer and co-founder of Centerstone, one of the nation’s largest behavioral healthcare providers. The non-profit organization, headquartered in Nashville, Tennessee, serves nearly 180,000 individuals in five states and nationwide through its national provider network. He is the recipient of numerous recognitions including being named a Behavioral Healthcare Champion by Behavioral Healthcare magazine in 2017, is recognized as one of Health Care’s Power Leaders in the March 2013 Nashville Business Journal; and a recipient of the National Council 2010 Visionary Leadership award. David received his BA in Mathematics from Vanderbilt University and his MSW in Social Work Administration and Planning from the University of Tennessee.
John McCarthy has more than 20 years of health care consulting and government leadership experience and is a Founding Partner at Speire Healthcare Strategies, LLC. John provides strategy and advisory services to clients to help them navigate the rapidly changing healthcare markets in the public and private sectors at both the federal and state levels. He is a nationally recognized expert in Medicaid reforms, value based purchasing, delivery system design, system implementation, and reimbursement policy. Prior to founding Speire Healthcare Strategies, LLC., John was CEO of Upshur Street Consulting, LLC. He was also the Medicaid Director for the State of Ohio for six years where he implemented a series of innovative policy initiatives that modernized ODM by improving the quality of health services at a substantial value to Ohio’s taxpayers. Prior to overseeing Ohio Medicaid, McCarthy served as Policy Director and ultimately Medicaid Director for the District of Columbia. John also spent 10 years at EP&P Consulting, serving as Corporate Manager. John holds a master’s degree in public affairs from Indiana University’s School of Public and Environmental Affairs and a bachelor’s degree in chemistry from Indiana University.
